RAJWELD 7010 Mo
DESCRIPTION: RAJWELD – 7010 Mo is a cellulose type electrode having a high melting speed suitable for all position welding including vertical down on DC (+) only. It produces forceful deeply penetrating spray type arc suits for pipe welding jobs. The weld deposit, which contains 0.5% molybdenum, has resistance to creep at high pressure and temperatures. The weld metal is of radiographic quality.
APPLICATIONS: Ideally suited for welding of C-Mo low alloy steels used in boilers and parts of high temperature and high pressure pipelines, high tensile pipelines for oil and gas transmission, Road building equipment, Alloy chain links, under frames for railroad cars.
Precautions:
- Use dry electrodes. Redry the moist electrode prior to use.
- Use short arc during welding.
- Use recommended amperage for better welding practice.
