DESCRIPTION: Rajweld PW 6 G is all position cellulosic type electrode, which is characterized with deeply penetrating, force full, spray type arc ease to strike & restrike and easily removable thin friable slag. Weld metal is ductile and of radiographic quality.
APPLICATIONS: Pipe Lines, Storage Tanks, Pressure Vessels, shipbuilding, Bridges, Structural fabrication, Fieldwork where welds of good penetration & soundness are required. Especially suitable for Pressure PipeLines welding.
Precautions:
- Use dry electrodes. Electrodes slightly affected by moisture should be carefully dried at temp 80°C before use.
- Use DC + Polarity and employ welding currents within the range recommended. Welding with excessive current results in increased spatter and undercut. Furthermore it adversely effects the quality of weld metal.
- Remove oil, grease and rust from parent metal.
